If you’re out of work and ready to make a change, our New Beginnings Programme is designed to help you take the first steps forward with your life after the military.
Whether you’re ready to work immediately, or need extra support and guidance to work out what to do next, we can make it easy.
The programme consists of bespoke, one to one coaching and mentoring sessions tailored to your specific needs and designed around what you want to achieve.
If you’re ready to find work immediately, we’ll cover:
Understanding the true value of your life experience so far – i.e. what you have to offer to the world.
Helping you identify which industries you are best suited for.
Helping you to connect into those industries through online, social media, apps and other digital platforms.
Showing you how to research specific companies you want to work for and drafting application letters.
Supporting you in completing application forms.
Creating a CV that will stand out.
Coaching and mentoring you ahead of your interviews to ensure you are fully prepped, confident and ready to give a great account of yourself.
If you need additional support to find the right career, we’ll:
Help you decide what type of job you would enjoy doing - because it’s important to be happy at work.
Understanding what qualifications are needed to do the kind of work you want.
Source any additional training required for the job.
Support you in understanding the true value of your life experience so far – i.e. what you have to offer to the world – and how those experiences can be used in the workplace.
Increase your confidence and self-esteem levels.
Additional wellbeing support:
We know that coming to terms with life after the military – as well as processing your experiences whilst serving – can take their toll on your mental health. As part of the programme we also look to help you find outlets to improve your wellbeing.
